Reliable communications for Columbia County's first responders
Columbia County's public safety radio system is more than 25 years old. Key equipment has exceeded its expected service life, and the system no longer provides the consistent, reliable communications first responders need.
Police officers, firefighters and emergency medical responders use their radios throughout the day. Their radios connect them to 9-1-1 dispatchers, other responders and the help they urgently need when a situation or emergency changes.
